CAPTAIN FLASHBACK grew up Laurel Canyon adjacent, and as a punk teenager snuck into all of the legendary clubs, canyon parties – even the “Riot House” with Led Zeppelin! The Captain played in all of the clubs in his own bands as he got older. Along the way he met many of the original musicians and artists who created the scene.

They told him funny, compelling first-hand stories about the songs, bands, drama and scene that he shares in this immersive, one of a kind rock and roll show.

The Whisky a Go-Go (the 1st music venue inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame) was the site of George Harrison’s infamous throwing of his whiskey and Coke on a photographer (not very Zen George). It was a big deal back in 1964 – the night after the Beatles first played the Hollywood Bowl.

They were sitting with starlet Jayne Mansfield in a booth (yes, she tipped off the media about this) and mayhem ensued. Remember Brian Epstein didn’t want the lads to take photos with celebrities – but Jayne had other plans!
